Welcome to the home page of the Zen Nihon Budo Renmei U.S.A. Branch (All Japan Budo Federation).
WHO WE ARE:
The Zen Nihon Budo Renmei (ZNBR, or All Japan Budo Federation - Nippon Seibukan) is an international
martial arts federation dedicated to the promotion and preservation of traditional Japanese and Okinawan
budo and bujutsu throughout the world.
- Important Disclaimer: The "All Japan Budo Federation - Nippon Seibukan" should not be
confused with the "Dai Nippon Seibukan Budo/Bugei Kai" or "Seibukan USA" of which George
Parulski is the International Director.
MISSION STATEMENT:
To preserve and teach the traditional martial arts of Japan and Okinawa. We strive to accomplish this in
an environment free of intimidation, politics, and other distractions. We further seek to foster a spirit of
fellowship and understanding, welcoming all like-minded individuals, regardless of race, gender, ethnic
background, religion, national origin, or physical handicap.

- IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: 6/3/2009 - Mr. Javier Galan,
the President of the European Ju-Jitsu Union (EJJU), has written
to the ZNBR regarding grades inappropriately issued on our

Branch has issued an official statement regarding unauthorized

samples of rank certificates being issued by organizations not

RECENT NEWS:
2/13/2010 - The first annual international Budo-sai in Kyoto has been
postponed for 2010. Dates for the 2011 Budo-sai in Kyoto will be posted
when the hombu has released them.... Meanwhile, the USA Branch has
several upcoming seminars scheduled for 2010. Read more here.

11/19/2009 - Our USA Branch Iaido Division Director, Andrew Bryant,
Renshi, recently had an article on Muso Jikiden Eishin-ryu Iaido
published in the Journal of Asian Martial Arts (JAMA). Read more here.
11/11/2009 - Our USA Branch Judo Division Director, Professor Carl
De Crée, Kyôshi, (in co-authorship with Dr. Llyr C. Jones) recently had
published a comprehensive three-part article on the Gô-no-kata of
Kôdôkan Judo in Archives of Budo, published by International Scientific
